ABOUT LINDLEY STUDIOS
Lindley Studios came live in 2001 and is an energised multi-disciplinary environment specialising in ear transcription, printed score production and arrangement.
Prices can depend on factors such as the number of bars, the complexity of the notation or the duration of the music. We are always happy to discuss your needs in person or by phone and can supply a lower and upper estimate before commencing on your project.
Our activities include translation of French and German musical topics, the writing of programme notes, and occasional reviews for newspapers and magazines.
Based in Brighton, we also create music using Logic and Sibelius software and an extensive library of samples.
David M. Hoyle (Director), who received an MMus from the Royal College of Music, carries out all transcription work and is able to call on the services of other highly-skilled colleagues as required.
The name Lindley relates to the district in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire where David spent his formative years, a topography that endures as a source of inspiration.
